Unlocking Digital Doors: My Session with B.Com Students

On 12th September 2025, I had the wonderful opportunity to interact with the bright young minds of Invertis University during an Awareness Program organized by the Department of B.Com. The theme of the session was “Unlocking Digital Doors: Exploring the World of Online Courses”, a subject very close to my heart.

As the world of education continues to transform, online courses have become powerful gateways for learning, skill-building, and career growth. During the session, I shared with students how digital learning platforms are creating new opportunities, breaking geographical barriers, and helping learners stay future-ready.

We discussed:

The importance of choosing the right online platforms.

How online certifications can complement their academic degrees.

The balance between classroom learning and digital exploration.

Ways to use MOOCs and e-learning tools for building professional skills.

What made the session truly enriching was the curiosity and enthusiasm of the students. Their questions, perspectives, and eagerness to explore digital opportunities turned the program into a lively and interactive discussion.This program would not have been possible without the constant encouragement and support of Invertis University. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Manish Gupta (Dean, Faculty of Management), Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HoD, B.Com), and my respected colleagues Dr. Nitin Sareen and Dr. Manmohan Bansal for their continuous guidance. A special thanks also goes to our dedicated student coordinators, Akshat and Ankit, for their sincere efforts in making the event a success.

I firmly believe that digital learning is not just an option anymore, but a necessity in today’s fast-changing world. And seeing our students ready to embrace this shift fills me with optimism.
