🌍 TRADECRAFT 2025: Decoding the Rules of Global Business

The Faculty of Management at Invertis University hosted an intellectually enriching event titled “Trade Craft: Decoding the Rules of Global Business” on 30th September 2025. Spearheaded by the Department of B.Com, the event aimed to sharpen students’ understanding of international trade through a dynamic, multi-round quiz competition that celebrated teamwork, strategy, and global awareness.

🎓 Leadership & Support

The event was convened by Dr Mohnish Kumar (Assistant Professor, Faculty of Management)

🧩 The Competition Format

A total of 28 students formed 7 teams (4 members each), competing across three intellectually stimulating rounds:

·        📝 Round 1 – MCQ Round (Kahoot)
All teams participated in a fast-paced online quiz via Kahoot, tackling questions on global trade and business concepts. The top 5 teams advanced based on their scores.

·        🧠 Round 2 – Descriptive Round
The qualifiers faced poster-based, audio, and video questions designed to test their analytical thinking and interpretation skills. The top three teams advanced to the final round.

·        🌐 Round 3 – Final Presentation Round
Each finalist team was assigned a topic with 5 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes to present. This round assessed their clarity of thought, communication skills, and ability to articulate global business perspectives.

🏆 The Champions

After a thrilling finale, two teams stood out:

·        Winners – Barrier Breakers
Roly Gupta, Avneet Kaur, Saksham Saxena, Rinki Taladhi

·        Runners-up – Globe Hustlers
Danish, Nancy, Ayush, Sanskar

Both teams were honoured with medals and certificates, while all student coordinators received certificates for their commendable contributions.

🙌 Behind the Scenes

A vibrant student coordination team flawlessly executed the event:
Akshat Verma, Ankit Gangwar, Dharni Gupta, Khyati Johari, Vansh Mehrotra, Raschit Kaur, Sahil Tiwari, Siddhi Agarwal, and Aman Kholiya.

“Trade Craft” was more than a competition—it was a celebration of global thinking, collaborative learning, and creative expression. It empowered students with real-world insights into international trade while honing their presentation and teamwork skills.
